Parece que finalmente la fecha oficial de salida del disco sí que es la que ya se dijo por aquí: el 29 de Agosto. Os dejo un artículo:

One of the original lead vocalists in an early incarnation of Destiny's Child called Tyme, Tamar had been honing her craft since childhood, eventually becoming one of only 20 high school students to be named a Presidential Scholar for the arts from a field of 8000 applicants. She also earned a degree in composing and arranging from USC, reuniting with Prince soon after for an even more intense musical tutelage with the prolific artist. The two shared writing and production chores on Milk & Honey, as well as a series of tantalizing stage events to cleverly introduce the charismatic Tamar, including this past February's 2006 Brit Awards (along with other Prince mavens such as Sheila E. and Wendy & Lisa), and a top-rated Saturday night Live performance. If the growing online buzz about Tamar's upcoming appearance on ABC's GMA is an accurate indicator, the mesmerizing artist is indeed about to make a name for herself all her own.

Buenas y malas noticias: según información de Tangerine17 en Housequake.com el álbum de Tamar está actualmente cancelado. Quienes tuvieran pensado comprárselo se ahorran unos eurillos. Que cada cual decida cuál es la buena o la mala noticia, jeje.

para mi es una putada porque no deja de ser un disco de prince, aunque lo cante tamar que la verdad es que no me hace ninguna gracia.

Qué cosas más raras están pasando últimamente. Pues había una cancioncilla que escuché un par de veces y no estaba nada mal.

A ver si se distancia un poco de Tamar y se centra en lo suyo de una vez!

Efectivamente "All I want is U" me parece una gran canción!!!

Una pena si finalmente este material se queda en el puñetero Vault.

"Sunday in the park" suena como una "girlsong" de los 80. Me gusta también.
La guitarra funky de "Holla and shout" es irresistible, aunque el conjunto me gusta menos que las otras dos.

Coincido con Goldie en lo de "All I Want Is U", es un buen tema que me ha recordado a la Erykah Badu de los 90, con unos jueguecillos de guitarra calcados del "'...Till The Cops Come Knockin'" de Maxwell.

Luego tenemos el "Sunday In The Park", que podía haberlo cantado Diana Ross en los 80 perfectamente (Goldie vuelve a dar en el clavo), y por último el "Holla & Shout" que no desentonaría en un disco de Christina Aguilera, por ejemplo.

En resumen, tres temas que no están mal del todo pero que tampoco me vuelven loco, la verdad sea dicha.

Yo tambien he pensado en la gran Erikah escuchando "All I want is U".

Con lo de "girlsong" me refería al estilo de canción que Prince hacía para Sheila o Apollonia en los 80. Ahora volviéndola a escuchar creo que tienes razón, me imagino perfectamente a Diana Ross cantándola.
