Yo lo tengo facilísimo:
Si tengo q elegir sólo uno evidentemente SOTT!! ¿cómo no?.

Ahora q si puedo hacer una elección 'extended' me kedaría con la trilogía SOTT /BA / Lovesexy.

Y repito x enésima vez q por mucho q se haya publicado el BA en el 94 yo lo sigo ubicando en el momento histórico en el q se creó y en el q yo lo oí: en pleno 88 justo después de las otras 2 tremendas salvajadas q he citado.
Sencillamente tres platos tan sabrosos q no daba abasto para digerirlos... cuando todavía estaba oyendo uno a diario, ya salía el otro.
A todos los q sois más jóvenes q yo -q sois la mayoría- os debe haber resultado más sencillo al haberos encontrado todo eso ya hecho. Pero os aseguro de q no podeis imaginar lo q fue oír 'Housequake' el 7 de mayo del 87 (todavía no me he repuesto) y para remate q te vengan los otros dos inmediatamente después...

Por etapas:

Etapa pre - Purple R.:

A destacar el Prince (buenísimo), Dirty Mind (funk sucio) y 1999 (muy bueno). For You y Controversy son normalitos, sobre todo el primero.

Purple Rain : OBRA MAESTRA

ATWIAD/Parade: pasables, algo irregulares, pero tienen temas bastante buenos.

Sign/Lovesexy: Imprescindibles

Batman / Graffiti Bridge: flojitos, sobre todo el primero

D&P/Symbol/Come/Black Album/Exodus: muy buenos en general, sobre todo el Symbol y el Exodus. El BA es más experimental, pero es bueno, no pegaba en esa época. D&P es tremendo, pero Tony M. jode algunos temas. Come está bien, sin más.

Gold Exp. Chaos & Disorder, Emancipation, Crystal Ball: Muy bueno, salvo el Chaos que me parece bastante flojo. El disco 2 del Emancipation es increible, y el Gold es perfecto, de principio a fín.

NPS/Rave/The Vault: La peor época de Prince. El primero no es malo, sino aburrido. El segundo es irregular y el tercero está bien, pero nada en comparación con lo de atrás.

TRC/One Nite/NEWS: tremendos, impresionantes. Música al 300%, sobre todo el primero.

Básicamente estos son sus discos. Resumiendo, me quedo con parte de la primera etapa , hasta el 84, con toda la etapa 87/88, la 92-96, y con la última desde el TRC.

Resumiendo muuuuucho, yo también me identifico con la trilogía SOTT/Black Album/LoveSexy, pero nunca he podido desligarla del repóker que supone añadir a esas tres obras supremas el "Small Club" y "Dortmund'88".

A partir de aquí podría escribir varios folios sobre mis "gustos sobre Prince" pero no tengo tiempo, así que eso que ganáis
