Era el quinto recopilatorio, época WB, que se editaba de Prince y esta vez la discográfica trato de buscar algún aliciente. Se incluyeron algunos de los temas en versión maxi e incluso se incluyó una cara B en el mismo. El principal problema del disco es que no estaba claro el criterio por el que los temas aparecían en versión single, album o remezclada y además precisamente esa variedad dejaba al disco (un poco) en terreno de nadie por lo que, una vez más, el título del recopilatorio no hacía justicia a su contenido. En UK, no obstante, el disco fue disco de oro a diferencia del "3121" publicado ese mismo año.
Prince, al menos esta vez, participó en su realización lo que desgraciadamente dejó fuera 2 de sus mejores temas: Erotic City y Sexy M.F.
