El primero de los singles publicado fuera de WB (con NPG Records) y bajo un impronunciable símbolo fue un éxito (el último de su carrera) en todo el mundo. El tema le dió su primer #1 en listas británicas. Cuenta la leyenda que el tema fue compuesto después de que Prince (lo llamaremos así) escuchara decir a un directivo que ya no era capaz de componer éxitos. Cuenta también la leyenda que, empeñado en que el disco fuera un éxito, muchos de los sencillos fueron comprados por su autor. 3 meses más tarde, se publico una especie de hermano mayor del mismo en forma de EP con hasta 8 versiones diferentes del mismo, The Beautiful Experience. El tema, en una nueva versión (otra más), terminó formando parte de The Gold Experience.
