También yo me enteré ayer, no he sido seguidora de "la negra", pero cuando oía alguna de sus canciones, sí que me paraba a escucharlas. Encierran gran belleza lírica y su voz transmitía. En los años '70 - '80 es cuando más se la pudo escuchar aquí en España. En una entrevista que le hicieron una vez, dijo: "Este es un país de negros", en el que todos son rubios", se me quedó muy grabada, yo era bastante jóven.
