Ya que está tan de moda la expresión ''Art Official Age'' es el mejor disco de Prince desde...'' pienso que sería interesante poner aquí su discografía de estudio solista (''Newpower Soul'' inclusive) y a cada disco darle una nota. Pienso que es el lugar idóneo para ver nuestras diferencias en cuanto a gusto respecto a sus discos.
Por favor, sean sinceros, si el ''Batman'' les gusta más que el ''Purple Rain'' háganlo ver con las notas. No se va a juzgar a nadie por gustarle más o menos un disco de los mitificados.

Para nada. De hecho, me gusta mucho más que su supuesta obra maestra Dirty Mind. Y tal y como comentas en otro hilo, In Love es una pasada de canción, es mi favorita de sus primeros años. En Baby demuestra una madurez poco frecuente en alguien de su edad (me encanta, en especial, el último verso), I'm Yours es puro rock & roll clásico (y me extraña que no haya sido versioneada por nadie, sólo sampleada en un horroroso tema hip-hop), Just As Long As We're Together es un preludio de todo lo que vendría después (deliciosa la última parte, totalmente instrumental, fórmula que repetiría en I Wanna Be Your Lover)...

Hasta las canciones más flojas (Crazy You y So Blue) tienen un encanto especial

Sé que soy muy generoso, pero es que soy fan de Prince (¿qué le vamos a hacer?). Para mí, las obras maestras de Prince son "1999", "Purple rain", "Parade", "Sign O the times", "Lovesexy" y "The rainbow children". Y les siguen de cerca "Around the world in a day", "O(+>", "Come" y "Art Official Age". Hacía mucho tiempo que no me enganchaba tanto a un disco de Prince, hasta el punto de no poder escuchar otra cosa, así que no me avergüenzo de colocar a "Art Official Age" en el Top Ten de sus álbumes.

Creo recordar que alguien acusó falsamente a PatricioRey de ser la abuela de Prince. Digo falsamente porque la abuela de Prince soy yo.

Me parece más que interesante que la mayoría de ustedes piense que ''Art Official Age'' sea el mejor desde ''The Rainbow Children''. Yo no lo veo así, me gusta el disco y bastante pero pienso que los anteriores no se quedan atrás.

Es posible que a ustedes les guste más ''Art Official Age'' que a mí, o lo más posible, que les gusten menos los últimos discos que ha publicado que a mí.
